This paper investigates the approximation of functions by Legendre wavelet expansions when their first and second derivatives belong to the generalized Lipschitz class Lip(𝛼, 𝑝), 0 < 𝛼 ≤ 1. Explicit error bounds are obtained in the 𝐿 2 -norm, showing that the rate of convergence depends on both the resolution level and the polynomial degree of the wavelet basis. The analysis reveals that Legendre wavelet estimators achieve sharper approximation orders than classical Fourier series and Haar wavelet methods under comparable smoothness assumptions. These results extend earlier studies on Lipschitz-type approximation and highlight the effectiveness of Legendre wavelets for functions with higherorder regularity.

Abstract: This paper investigates the approximation of functions by Legendre wavelet expansions when their first and second derivatives belong to the generalized Lipschitz class 𝑳𝒊𝒑(𝜶, 𝒑), 𝟎 < 𝛼 ≤ 1. Explicit error bounds are obtained in the 𝑳 𝟐 -norm, showing that the rate of convergence depends on both the resolution level and the polynomial degree of the wavelet basis. Abstract: Fermat’s Last Theorem states that there exists no three positive integers x, y and z satisfying the equation x n + y n = z n , where n is any integer > 2. Fermat and Euler had already proved the theorem for the exponents n = 4 and n = 3 in the equations x 4 + y4 = z4 and x 3 + y3 = z3, respectively. Hence, taking into account the same, it is enough to prove the theorem for the exponent n = p, where p is any prime > 3. In this proof, we have hypothesised that r, s, and t are positive integers in the equation rp + sp = tp, where p is any prime greater than 3, and we prove the theorem by the method of contradiction. To support the proof in the above equation, we have used an Auxiliary equation: x³ + y³ = z³. The two equations are linked using transformation equations. Solving the transformation equations, we prove the theorem.

Abstract: Fermat’s Last Theorem states that it is impossible to find positive integers A, B and C satisfying the equation An + Bn = Cn where n is any integer > 2. Taking the proofs of Fermat for the index n = 4, and Euler for n = 3, it is sufficient to prove the theorem for n = p, any prime > 3. We hypothesize that all r, s and t are non-zero integers in the equation r p + sp = tp and establish a contradiction in this proof. To support the evidence in the above equation, we have used another equation: x³ + y³ = z³. Without loss of generality, we assert that both x and y are nonzero integers; z3 is a non-zero integer; z and z2 are irrational. We transform the above two equations using parameters, incorporating the Ramanujan-Nagell equation. Solving the transformed equations, we prove the theorem.

Abstract: We consider a model for vertical lifting of an aqueous solution of salts in a xylem. We analysed the changes in movement of the considered solution depending on various parameters. We employ an analytical approach to examine the model under consideration. The approach enables consideration of parameter changes in both space and time, as well as the nonlinearity of the processes under examination.

Abstract: In this paper, we consider an approach to changing the temperature of liquids and gases in pipelines by local heating and cooling. We introduce a model of heat transfer with account forced convection. Additionally, we introduce an analytical approach for predicting heat transfer.
